A third-grade student from Cline Elementary School recently spent a day in a special role. Rose Sheaffer was given the opportunity to be Friendswood's Mayor for the Day. Her day began with a swearing-in ceremony, after which she learned about the city's departments and services.

Rose toured various municipal facilities, including the police and fire departments, as well as the library. She met with city employees to learn about their work in serving the community.
