The Bayeux Tapestry has arrived at the British Museum in London after a secretive journey from France. This medieval artwork is now back on English soil after nearly 1,000 years.

The tapestry was transported using a high-tech and secure operation, with details of the move kept private due to security concerns. It will be on display at the museum from September 10 until July 2027.

Further information about the tapestry's arrival and exhibit can be found through the British Museum or other news sources, such as KPRC 2 and Click2Houston.
